Ludington Area Jaycees earn Honors from the Michigan Junior Chamber
This past weekend, May 9-11, 2014 a group of Ludington Area Jaycees traveled to Mackinac Island in order to attend the Michigan Jaycees May Leadership Conference. We are very proud to announce that the Ludington Area Jaycees were given awards for “Excellence in Programming” for their projects “Jr Jaycee Appreciation Day,” developed and ran by members Kandi Fugere and Sara Raczkowski and also for the “2014 Easter Egg Hunt” which was ran by member Erin Aberegg. Jamie Spore, Heather Catron, Corey Ottgen, Sara Raczkowski, and Erin Aberegg were also recognized for certifications in Leadership Degrees (a program sponsored by the United States Junior Chamber). Mary Burden was honored with a special award from the JCI (Junior Chamber International) Senate; the Tony Karasiewicz Memorial “Return the Favor Award” for all that she does to help her home chapter.
